Since August 2020, I am accompanying the theatre on its journey towards digitalisation. Audiences‘ viewing habits and expectations are changing and high culture has long since arrived in the digital realm. In order to be able to continue negotiating current socially relevant topics, theatre must also open towards these places of negotiation, play and participation.\u200b
Based on a four year funding of Fond Digital by Kulturstiftung des Bundes<\/a>,<\/span> we have joined forces with Komische Oper Berlin<\/a>.<\/span> Together we established an interdisciplinary team within the project „Spielr\u00e4ume! Auf der Suche nach digitalen Erlebniswelten“<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> developing concepts and prototypes for theatrical play spaces online, offline, hybrid- but mainly playful and somehow digitally enhanced. This happens through the inclusion of audience members, artists and experts perspective, inspiration and co-creation.
Beyond this we also seek to drive and inspire digital transformation within the houses organisational structures.
